A distinguished environmental scientist and tourism expert with over 20 years of experience spanning the public sector, international organizations, and academia. Holding a PhD in Economics with a focus on ecological-economical problems in agriculture, this professional has served in high-level roles within the Armenian Ministry of Environment, including Deputy Head of Ecotourism Assistance and Chief Specialist for Protected Areas. Expertise encompasses environmental impact assessments (EIA), green and circular economy strategies, and the development of sustainable ecotourism and agrotourism infrastructures. Currently, this team member serves as the Environmental lead for "Armenia" International Airports CJSC, managing waste minimization and energy audit systems (ISO 50001).
An active academic and international lecturer, this expert has delivered specialized courses on the Green Economy and Ecotourism at prestigious institutions in Italy and Poland, as well as at Valery Bryusov State University and the Armenian National Agrarian University. With a history of leading projects for the EU, USAID, and NABU, this professional is also a dedicated advocate for environmental policy, serving as the founder of the "ECORADAR" NGO and a board member of the "Environment and Health" NGO.
