Hovhannes Asatryan

A distinguished economist and researcher with a focus on macroeconomic problems, finance, and regional development. This professional serves as the Head of the Scientific Group at the Institute of Economics after M. Kotanyan (National Academy of Sciences of Armenia) and as an R&D specialist at the Gyumri branch of the Armenian State University of Economics. With a PhD in Economics and degrees with honors from the Armenian National Agrarian University, this expert has authored over 30 scientific publications, including a monograph and 11 articles indexed in Web of Science or Scopus.

Recognized for high-level academic excellence, this team member was a participant in the prestigious 8th Lindau Nobel Meeting on Economic Sciences. He currently serves as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Armenian Economic Review and sits on the editorial boards of several international journals. As a supervisor at EconomX LAB, he mentors young scientists and leads research initiatives funded by the RA Higher Education and Science Committee. He is highly proficient in macroeconomic modeling and data analysis, backed by a TOEFL IBT score of 103.
