EU “Climate change resilience for the Akunq Community RA”
The project focuses on strengthening local resilience through evidence-based planning.
A core component of the project is the comprehensive assessment of the community’s natural resources, including detailed analysis of water and soil systems, identification of climate-related risks, and evaluation of their impacts on local livelihoods.
Within the project, targeted interventions will carry out to support farmers through technical guidance, demonstration activities, and capacity-building measures. Innovative and practical solutions will be promoted to mitigate the impact of climate variability on agricultural productivity.
Based on this analysis, the project will develop targeted mitigation and adaptation measures aimed at improving resource management and reducing vulnerability.
Expected Outcome
The findings serve as the foundation for the development of a Climate Change Strategy for the Akunq community, outlining practical, context-specific actions to enhance long-term sustainability and resilience.
